Day #313 -

Monday

Today in seminary we had a recently returned missionary come speak to all the freshman. His sister is in my class and she was really excited for him to be home and to come to seminary. It made me think about when I came home from my mission. Kevin was still at home and I think he was a freshman. Jen was going to college at SLCC. I spent a lot of time visiting Jen. I think I slept at her apartment almost as many nights as I stayed in Rexburg. I also spent a little bit of time with Kevin.

Looking back, I wish I would've taken more time with Kevin then I did. I can't believe how fast the years have gone and how much of his childhood I missed. Now he is a missionary and off spreading the gospel. When he gets home he will go straight in to college, then he'll get married and start a family. I hope I get the chance to get to know the man he's become.

I have an air mattress he can crash on.
